Building Experience

Where I've Worked

I'm still early in my career, but I've been intentional about every role I've taken on — choosing work that sharpens real skills and builds toward where I want to go.

Experience
Part-TimeApr 2026 — Present

Student Technologist

Adelphi University — FCPE

I just started this role and I'm very excited for it. I'm part of a group of undergrad and grad students who provide technological assistance to faculty at Adelphi, ensuring everything flows smoothly. We bring working knowledge of the available tech stack to go beyond basic troubleshooting — actually solving problems and making technology work for the people using it.

Collaborating with a team of undergrad and grad students

Ensuring seamless day-to-day technological operations

Part-TimeJan 2026 — Present

Math Tutor

Adelphi University — Learning Resource Program

I work as a math tutor in the LRP, which is Adelphi's department dedicated to supporting students with learning disabilities. In this role, I use not only my math skills but also my ability to learn new subjects I haven't always seen before — fully understanding the concepts in a reduced period of time and explaining them effectively so that the person can learn them.

Rapidly learning unfamiliar math subjects to teach them effectively

Adapting explanations to each student's unique learning needs

Sharpening both mathematical intuition and communication skills

Semester RoleJan 2026 — May 2026

Teaching Assistant

Adelphi University — Math & CS Department

This was a one-semester position, as the opening was only available for the spring semester. Being a TA made me adapt to different teaching styles — every professor has a different way of teaching, so to not confuse students, I would teach each one in the style of their own professor. It sharpened an important skill: how one idea can be explained through different lenses.

Adapting to multiple professors' teaching styles seamlessly

Explaining complex concepts through different lenses for each class

Supporting students across the Math and Computer Science departments

Summer ProgramSummer 2026

Research Assistant

ASIME — Adelphi Summer Institute in Mathematical Epidemiology

This summer I'm joining ASIME to apply my math, Python, and Excel skills to real-world data analysis and mathematical modeling. I’ll be collaborating with Adelphi professors and students—using computer science and statistics to research real-world data on cancer, ALS, Parkinson's, heart disease, and COVID-19. At the same time, I’ll be mentoring a groups of high school students, guiding them as they make progress on original research problems of their own.

Work Ethic

I work hard, and I care about what I do.

I genuinely want to provide value wherever I am. I thrive under pressure, stay organized with my time, and I'm always looking for ways to contribute.

All In

When I take on a role, I don't skim the surface. I learn how things work end to end — the tools, the context, the people, the problems. I'm not there to just complete tasks; I want to fully understand what I'm part of.

Proactive

The best thing I can bring to any role is attention — not just to what I'm asked to do, but to what's happening around me. If I notice something that could help, I say something. It costs nothing to speak up, and it might matter to someone.

Disciplined

Showing up is not the hard part — showing up at the same level every single day is. I've built habits of consistency that make me someone you can count on not just when things are easy, but especially when they aren't.

Relentless

I don't fold when things get hard. Difficult problems are where I get most focused. I stay with a challenge until I understand it — and if I don't know something, I go learn it.

Let's Build
Together

I'm constantly looking to connect with people who care about their work as much as I do. If you're building something interesting, have a tough problem that needs solving, or just want to talk about technology, feel free to reach out.
